What Does Your Company Do?

Sew Creative essentially teaches people how to sew. Training programmes can be a single introductory lesson or an extended certificate skills programme. Individuals and corporate & government groups are all invited. All our training programmes have been developed and created by me. We provide training to people from all walks of life, including mentally & physically challenged people. We love what we do and it shows.

What is your Biggest Success?

My personal best is a group of ten ladies sponsored by the Health Department at Fort England Hospital. They embraced the opportunity fully and their sheer delight and boosted confidence levels with their new-found sewing skills were an absolute high for me. They were in menial jobs due to circumstance, and this has lifted their spirits & earning power. As a company, Sew Creative’s greatest achievement has been empowering both physically & mentally challenged individuals with sewing skills. This has created an outlet for their creative talents and earning potential.

What has been your Biggest Hurdle?

Finding and employing the right staff is my biggest hurdle. Having started this business from a dream, continuously developing and evolving as we grow, I need to be sure that those who join our team share my passion and focus.
